A Poem From Passions: Love Poems and Other Writings – One of my #1 Amazon Bestseller Poetry Books

I am the one

I am the voice of your past loves
resounding in your wildest fantasies
dressed in roses at the altar of your dreams
I am the one youโ€™ve never had
my soul flows from the tears of the Nile
from the hands of children who still beg
through ruins, darkness, and deep pain
through wars which they will never understand
I am the last who will be saved
for I have sinned under the shadow of His cross
when Spanish fountains cry in the sunset
I am the Desdemona who youโ€™ve never met
today Granadaโ€™s just the place
in which Garcรญa Lorca once was killed
I am the feather of a gold macaw bird
and in the city where bells toll
I am the one whose cries youโ€™ve never heard

A poem from my book Woman: Splendor and Sorrow

A nude silence wraps around my lips. The hour to get drunk on love has come.
I touch your skin and another you is born.
Birds invade the sky.
A labyrinth of candles floods the streets.
A white thread ties my blood vessels at the exact moment
when a religious procession walks by.

Thanksgiving wishes, a poem, and more on Celebrating Poetry by Cindy Georgakas

My dear readers,

To those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving I wish you a beautiful week ahead and Happy Thanksgiving! To those who do not celebrate a century of love from me and my publishing house Literary Revelations.

First, I want to share with you a poem included in my book Passions: Love Poems and Other Writings. I hope you enjoy it.

SEDUCTION

the rhythm of castanets awakens the moon
on opal rings your kisses spin
a cricketโ€™s hitting a crescendo
waves tattoo dark shadows on your skin
sonority, you who vibrates the souls
of those who haunt at night the Port of Cartagena

I toss in smells of apricots and plumes
the Hand of Fatima takes off my veils
your forehead sinks into the sweat of lovers
who sever their veins
oh, dream of the unknowns,
you, latency,
the sigh of blood which flows

in spring both mud and flowers grow didnโ€™t you know
that when you said I love you
you stepped on roads of fables and folk tales?
you glued your heart onto a purple sunset
smells of lilac and of roses, impregnated strolls,
seduction,
it wasnโ€™t me
it was you who stole his soul

CELEBRATING POETRY BY CINDY GEORGAKAS

Second, I would like to remind you that Literary Revelations just published Celebrating Poetry by Cindy Georgakas. It’s a wonderful book and I would like you – if you can – to continue to buy it.

Yesterday Cindy was still #1 in Inspirational and Religious poetry. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart to Cindy. However, there were many problems with Amazon apps that showed the eBook unavailable in the US market. At this point things were fixed but just in case if you cannot buy the eBook via the app, please open your browser, paste the link below, and sign in your Amazon Account. That way you certainly can buy.

Yesterday:

Last night we lost the banner to a haiku book that Amazon stacked in front of us. The haiku book does not have any category remotely close to Religious & Inspirational Poetry. I have spoken to Amazon and I trust that the problem will be corrected.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone!

And Celebrating Poetry by Cindy Georgakas -published by Literary Revelations- is now #1 Top Release in Inspirational poetry too!

Georgakas creates beautiful imagery with an accessible and authentic voice. Her poetry explores the challenging push-pull of life as well as the calming force of nature. Meaningful and inspirational, her poems are frequently a breath of fresh airโ€” sometimes deep and, quite often, lots of fun.

Robbie Cheadle, Author & Poet
Cindyโ€™s poems about relationships, emotions, and life in general are beautifully written, relatable, and always uplifting. Reading her poetry is good for my soul.

Flamenco – poem by Gabriela Marie Milton

I want to burn inside the rhythms of the flamenco,
flame in the dancersโ€™ passion in the streets of old Cรณrdoba
I want to entertain rich masters for a piece of bread
inside the silent cries of those who are misunderstood
I want the desperation of the dancers dressed in red.

My Dear Followers,

I am thrilled to let you know that Literary Revelations will publish Full Moon Confessions by Tracey Anne, an excellent poetry book on September 22 (tentative date)

Here is a magnificent poem from Tracey’s book:

Autumn in Paradise

Lovers of a forbidden tale
paisley teardrops sewn on my veil
hidden truth of parting pain
tracing rainbows through the rain
love is a game
and I dare not blame
the trembling leaves
or the autumn breeze
for at least we once believed
in our own fairytale

Summer Fantasy – Poem by Gabriela Marie Milton

my eyes are water wells
mirroring your body
into a time which shrinks
my lips shine on stained glass
windows to the sea
a virgin violin
faints into your lap
sick with jealousy
the summer hangs in trees
seduction
fantasy

Thank you the US! At the hour I write Literary Revelations‘ #1 Amazon Bestseller Petals of Haiku is #10 after 2 months since its publications. That’s fantastic.

Childhood- poem by Gabriela Marie Milton

Poem

Oh, childhood how I miss you: red fanfares in the park, clowns whose secrets nobody knew, little socks embroidered by mama; a horizon with no limits stretching his wings from my window to the sea.

I can smell you, my childhood, lemons and oranges on the old streets, sugar on my fresh lips, cranes on the top of the chimneys.

Eyes bursting in the light of traffic signals and closing at softness of the afternoon poplars.

One day, the city cried, a fresco of pain and smog, rapid steps, cars crashing, my memory arrested. I lost my way.

I write with my back to the windows, mama gone, your right hand on my shoulder. Love, I am still looking for my way.
