      3. Oh thank you Button that means so much to me. I plan to write at least half the pieces while on the Oregon Coast. The house I rented for seven days has a large bedroom with fireplace and big ocean window. I love your positivity it is very gracious. I need to think more that way myself. I appreciate your faith in my abilities, still working on my style, and working to improve my poetry always. Thank you. Big hugs, love and inspiration. β€οΈπŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸŒΉπŸŒΉπŸ’•πŸ¦‹honeybun

  4. I love this poem Gabriella and commented there. It’s awesome you continue to reach new heights and give to the writing community when you do so much already. Thank you! I’d love to follow you on twitter but that would mean I’d have to sign up for one more darn social media thing.. 🀣 I’m tapped out but never say never.. If I can find the bandwidth, I will… promise. πŸ’–

    1. Good morning and thank you from the bottom of my heart my dearest Cindy. You are a gem as always.
“I’d love to follow you on twitter but that would mean I’d have to sign up for one more darn social media thing.” If you plan to continue writing poetry and eventually publish get on twitter. I wish somebody would have advised me to do so long time ago. But nobody said anything. I signed up for twitter in 2019 and I published my first book in 2020, but I had no idea how exactly to use twitter. That’s another story for another time. Twitter is for writers. You want to consider it. There is also gorgeous photography on twitter so there you have it. It was the number of books that was sold via Twitter (with no advertising at all) that put Woman: Splendor and Sorrow in the first place of new releases. Basically my pinned post on twitter.

That said, have a gorgeous day hon. Enjoy the weekend. Love you.

      1. Hi My Dear Gabriella, you are so welcome my friend. I’m in route driving home and I appreciate your input truly.
“If you plan to continue writing poetry and eventually publish get on twitter. I wish somebody would have advised me to do so long time ago. But nobody said anything. I signed up for twitter in 2019 and I published my first book in 2020, but I had no idea how exactly to use twitter. ”
Wow, that’s awesome G and straight from the “horses mouth (of course a beautiful Arabian at that).. lol. 🀣 Of course I’m choking on my hay right now hahahahaha.
Let’s just say that I started blogging to build a following for my book that I still have no idea when or what it is yet. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
So yes, there’s a book in me so guess where I’m heading now… or as soon as I get home… ?! 🀣
Can you manage my site?…. hahahhaha. The print is so small in all of these, I only read the poetry on WP generally.

Thanks so much and hope you are having a great weekend as well. Love you too. πŸ’–β€οΈ

      2. Good morning my dearest Cindy.
“Let’s just say that I started blogging to build a following for my book that I still have no idea when or what it is yet” that I believe. Most of us do the same.
“So yes, there’s a book in me so guess where I’m heading now” Somehow I know that too and I am thrilled for you. It’s going to be a wonderful book!
“Can you manage my site?” Hon, I cannot manage mine anymore.
“The print is so small in all of these, I only read the poetry on WP generally.” fair enough.

Whishing you the best Sunday ever.
        Love and hugs.

      3. Nice to see your message first thing wishing me a good morning by my friend as I’m smiling.
        Same to you❣️
You got me perfectly and reassured all of my concerns and gave me confirmation and encouragement, so thanks. Awwww and love your faith in my work, truly πŸ™.
The “β€œCan you manage my site?” was supposed to bring a chuckle to you but with so much to do… maybe not so much. 😱 hahahaha.

“Fair enough”. you read me … over and out.
But I made my first Twitter Post πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€£ so there’s that but now I can’t download it and I’m locked out of all of my passwords. Go figure.

I thought we just had to write but now we have to be tech geniuses as well? What’s with that?!
        Beam me up Scotty… hahaha.

Thanks for the wishes my dearest G and you do the same you magnificent being! πŸ’–πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ‘¨β€β€οΈβ€πŸ’‹β€πŸ‘¨

  5. Congrats on the publication, Gabriela. This piece of writing is irresistible, and I love the sensory memory. As someone who believes we breathe life into our characters, this appeals to my sense of magic. Beautiful.

    1. Diana, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am really humbled by your words. You know they mean the world to me.
      Have a beautiful Sunday 🌺🌸🌹

      1. I missed you too, Gab. Everything is okay, but I am still working. I finished my translation, and then was asked to do another right away, so I’ve been mostly working. And you?

      2. I know what working means. I am doing teaching, research, service, trying to keep up with my poetry and social media. I am beyond exhausted. Something got to give. And you can guess. I will have to retreat for a while even from blogging. Anyway, I am glad you are well hon. Sending you love. ❀️

      3. I know exactly how you feel. I spend the day doing research for terms and translating. And I know what I’m like when I work — everything else may fall apart, including my own writing.

The good news is, somewhere in March I’ll have one of my retellings published and I look forward to sharing it with you. It’s part of my collection, which I started working on again after I finished my first project, but now it’s on hold again. I think you’ll like it. By the way, your rien story was really amazing. Many hugs, Gab!

      4. Can’t wait to read you hon. It’s always a pleasure to read you. Your writing is fabulous. Take care too. Love and hugs.
