for you #short prose

Memories of a humid summer, dripping with love, when you finished your book.

In the night red wax is trickling over a torn page that says, “for you- whose love fills my life with joy and makes all things possible.”

My arms ache trying to pull you back from a memory abyss filled with pain.

Can I still make all things possible?

The walls stay silent.

      1. I love to discuss poetry, poems, but when it comes to techniques I am a disaster! I am still learning.

      2. Yeah I’m not much on form myself. I concentrate on the basics, spelling, grammar, punctuation but beyond that I’m in the dark. I love to talk about poems and the poets who write them. I used to be part of a workshop group but now I’m on my own. How about you?

      3. Yeah when it comes to writing that’s the style for me also.
I spend a lot of time reading poetry. The images and ideas always inspire me. Currently I’m reading Natalie Diaz and Layli Long Soldier – they are poets with important things to say, two very powerful voices for Native People, well, for Humans in general.
