I’m coming after you #poem #poetry

poems wrote in other lives
line up like soldiers
ready for the battle
against the Hellenistic decadence
creeping in my laughter
…..
there are no stars to help
the moon dwells in your silence
coolness of gray walls in summer nights
…..
you think you’ve ever loved?
i’m coming after you

fragment from the poem I’m coming after you

    1. My Dearest R,
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment.
“But there is more to this too…” There are more lines, but honestly there is not more to it.
      Sending you hugs, hugs, hugs

  2. Good afternoon G,

Trying to gather my thoughts to find the right words. This has a totally different feel to it when compared to your other works. And you’re finale, hmmm, it provo0kes so many
    thoughts.

This was totally leather jeans, motorcycle, bad girl all rolled up in one little poem. One of the coolest things I have read in a long time. Wonderful seeing another side of you (your writing). Really enjopyed this. The poems lining up like soldier. Brilliant.

You always leave me in awe.

“Wonderful seeing another side of you (your writing)” I have to admit there are many sides to my writings 🙂
“leather jeans, motorcycle” Haha! You know I may go for a Harley-Davidson 🙂 This place is so much Harley-Davidson.
      Take care, Drew.
      G
