“If things were always what they seemed, how impoverished would be the imagination of man!”
Lawrence Durrell, Balthazar.

Tu me parles tout bas.

Always touched by your kindness, Ivor.
That’s very nice of you to say so 💛🤗
It’s true 🙂
This is one of those times I am so happy for technology and in love with whoever invented google translate. Honestly, I used to dream of something like that…
So, courtesy of google translate I can say that this is utterly, totally, through and through beautiful and romantic. In English the language and metaphors are soft and lush, if I could read it in French I think I would nearly faint…. certainly, I sigh….
I did not know you could write in French, you never cease to amaze me with your talent. Still sighing.
Xoxo
It’s night in your part of the world my dearest, R. I hope you are sleeping on a bed of scented flowers.
Thank you for making the effort to translate. It means the world to me.
Ay.. and thank you for your beautiful comment. Your comments are as beautiful as you are.
