Where ancient stones remember pain,
The crimson sun, the dust- my reign
Red is my dress , the crowd ignites—
A sea of faces, hope and dread.
The bull, a shadow forged in night.
And you, my matador, in shining thread,
The cape—a flick, a whispered prayer—
Red as the roses on the grave.
The dance of death…
Now I scribble words in lonely Sundays,
Echoes of bull fights in Salamanca …
