Haiku for Soulmates – Call for Submissions for a New Anthology by Literary Revelations

Dear followers and subscribers,

Literary Revelations is thrilled to announce an open call for submissions for our upcoming anthology, Haiku for Soulmates. Whether you have a soulmate and wish to celebrate your connection, or you dream of finding one, we invite you to share your poetic voice. If you have a soulmate, please compose five haiku for him or her. If you do not, let your imagination shape five haiku that describe the soulmate you hope to meet.

To participate, please submit your five haiku to literaryrevelations@pm.me and clearly label your email subject as Haiku for Soulmates. Please note that unlabeled submissions may be misplaced and not read. The submission deadline is February 25. Your five haiku will be accepted or rejected as a block.

Grace the pages of our forthcoming anthology with your fantastic writing. The cover art will feature the work of our fabulous Artist in Residence, Japanese painter Hikari. We look forward to receiving your beautiful haiku and celebrating the magic of soulmates together.

My dear friends, I hope everyone had a great holiday.

The world is grim, and I continue to pray that each of us on this planet will have peace and light.

Amidst all these, Literary Revelations is preparing to release Tranquility: An Anthology of Haiku. May the book bring beauty and a moment of meditation and calm to the lives of those who read it.

This book is a book of poetry as well as a book of art.

As I wrote in the foreword to this book, “Each haiku redefines temporality as an axis mundi. Think about it.” Our relation with ourselves and divinity begins and ends in us. I hope the beauty of this book will make you think so.

Before the launch date, which is approaching soon, I read three haiku for you. It was my great pleasure to collaborate with all contributors.

Dear Followers,

Literary Revelations invites you to unleash your poetic prowess and be part of our upcoming poetry collection entitled Tranquility: An Anthology of Haiku. With a cover designed by our of award-winning Japanese artist, Hikari, and artistic photos by award-wining Japanese photographer Naoki Kimura included, please do not miss the chance to have your words grace the pages of our anthology.

Guidelines for Submission

Email 5 Haiku at literaryrevelations@pm.me and title your submission 5 HAIKU (no plural). Please note that any other title will land your submission in the wrong email folder, and your submission will not be read.

Submit your name and your haiku in the body of the email. No attachments will be open. No need to submit a bio.

By submitting to Tranquility: An Anthology of Haiku you, as a contributor, affirm that you own the rights to your pieces submitted and/or accepted for publication by Literary Revelations LLC and give Literary Revelations LLC permission to publish your work.

You attest that you are 18 years or older.

If you commit plagiarism Literary Revelations LLC is discharged from any liabilities.

You retain the right to your work. Literary Revelations LLC retains the right to the anthology, and it remains its exclusive publisher in perpetuity.

Submissions accepted for the anthology may be used by Literary Revelations LLC in whole or in part to promote the anthology. Writers and artists will be appropriately credited in all promotional materials.
