Scents of linden trees illuminated by an old oil lamp.
The night is me.
I am the night where love delights dwell.
Shed you skin and come with me where minutes melt like chocolate on the tongue of a child.
You, sweetness from beyond the body, what can one say about you?

  7. Beautiful, Button “Shed your skin and come with me where minutes melt like chocolate on the tongue of a child.” Very visual as always. You can almost taste the chocolate. Button I won’t give anything away but your poem, Wooden bed is so beautifully written that it easily brings one to tears. An entire tragic love story told on a page.       6. Rene I was born in Europe. I traveled and even lived in different places. And one day I found myself living in Miami. I feel like I am of that place and that place is of me.
        Sending plenty of love to one of the few native Miamians left. Enjoy Miami every minute for me too. I had to leave, but as I said I left my heart in Miami.
