Last night thinking of the friendships I have created on WP I wrote on a piece of paper: The profoundest friendships are never geographical. Perhaps even the profoundest loves are not geographical either.
I am humbled by the love and the support you have shown me. It is my joy to share with you my work and my journey as a writer. You all enrich my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I need to work out how to write reviews. Another writer wrote a post recently about the importance of reviews. It's something I have not attempted and it is a neglect on my part. It is one of writing goals to start reviewing the books of other WordPress writers. I want to start making it a regular-ish feature…maybe once a month at first.

My dearest beautiful Button what a lovely review, congratulations! I could not be happier seeing your work being reviewed by so many with such beautiful but different perspectives. That is why I love poetry so much. We read lines and see different things and feel various emotions depending on what is happening in our own lives.
I truly loved this line of the review, “Her words are chosen precisely, showing a distinct shade of blue or a particular floral scent. There is no laziness in her lines.”
This is so true. Your poetry has inspired me to work harder than I ever have before to be a better poet.
There is something in your gorgeous book for everyone who is drawn to love, colors, hope, tragedy, exotic places, passion, smells, and loss. It’s basically an experience painted on a canvas with words, an image and feeling that lingers with us long after it’s read.
I personally will never forget the beloved poem “Wooden bed.” I will be doing a mundane task in the house and all of a sudden my mind will go to this visual. A woman leaving her husband a note as she prepares to be taken away and put in a concentration camp. This poem still makes me cry. You evoke emotion that brings tears dripping from my heart, which I wear on my sleeve.
Your poems are remembered as the reviewer talks of in the review.
