  1. Woooohoooo, congrats, Gabriela! I ended up registering for an account as I don’t like logging in via social media. It’s a shame the voting is only open for 4 days. I hope you get lots of well-deserved votes, you have mine. Good luck!!

    1. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and good wishes. I am so grateful to you.
      Sincerely
      Gabriela

  3. After the page gave me several “bad requests” error messages, it finally said “Thank you for voting.” Win! Win! Win! My dear Gabriela.

    1. Oh, Timothy, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me. I am in debt to you. Sending everyone big hugs and good wishes 🙂

      1. My pleasure. No debt acquired on your part. I’m always happy to help. Is Maya still giving giving you problems with her meds?

      2. Thank you Timothy. You are so kind. Yes, she is. And I can’t give her a break. She takes metoprolol in liquid form twice a day. I can’t stop that medication. She needs to take it. While I was gone she was home with the house sitter who studies veterinary medicine. Perhaps he did a better job. Or perhaps she is mad because I was away. I hope everything calms down because she is really unhappy now. Thank you for asking Timothy. How are the owlets? They must be big now.

      3. She’s mad because you left her. That’s what kitties do. I haven’t seen the owlets this week, but I’ve been seeing the night herons every night.

      4. She did not use to do that. Perhaps she changed. Do you think the owlets left? I miss them.
The herons are really beautiful. I have a white egret by the lake. Usually there are two of them. This year I got only one. She is gorgeous.

      5. We have snowy egrets this time of year, also. The owlets come out pretty late. I think I’ve not been down there when they come out.

      6. The egrets are beautiful, aren’t they? When you have time could you please update me on the owlets? Thank you Timothy. Enjoy the rest of your day 🙂

    1. Sweetheart, thank you so much. That is so kind. I am really grateful to you.
Wishing you the best weekend ever.
      xoxoxoxo

    1. Good morning Drew. Thank you for the vote. It’s so good to here from you.
Drew I am waiting news for a while. In several occasions I got really shaky. Are you ok, Andrew?

      1. Smiling.
I reached for my phone just as your post came into my phone. Impeccable timing.

Me? I am good. Feeling very strong. Have two doctors disputing the next step. Going for a third opinion. Haven’t returned to blogging since it appears as if open heart surgery is on the horizon.

I will be posting an update Sunday night. Returning to regular blogging the following week (July).

Hoping you and yours are well. Recently lost two New York friends to COVID. Please, please continue to be careful. This ugly virus will. not go away anytime soon.

Have missed you and your writing. Have you recently posted excerpts of another novel or changed the name of Glass Lovers?

      2. Drew, thank you so much for thinking about me. I am very careful. I am fine.
        I am worried about you.
“Going for a third opinion. Haven’t returned to blogging since it appears as if open heart surgery is on the horizon.” Stay strong. I look forward to the update. I feel like I don’t know a lot about what’s happening. But what can I do? My prayers and thoughts are with you.
        Always
        G.

      3. So sorry about that. I will send you an update this weekend.

Doctors have ordered me to continue the quarantine. Stayed home working on my novels and creating a killer query. More determined than ever to get this done.

Doctors agree, other than 2 malfunctioning arteries, my heart is very strong. Feeling great and happy. Missing the bloggie and my friends. Anxious to get back.

Haven’t written any poetry. Without the inspiration of your poetry and others, it just hasn’t come to me. I guess it will eventually.

I am taking good care of myself. Excercise, good food, and no alcohol.
Thank you for your beauty reply. Soon, I will be around regularly to harass you with my nonsense.

Be well my dear friend. I will be in touch

      4. I am glad you are well Drew. I am looking forward to the update.
“Soon, I will be around regularly to harass you with my nonsense.” Oh, be my guest. You are never nonsensical.
I am glad your are working on your novel. As for poetry we got to do something about that, don’t we?
        Take care of you Drew.
        Sending you a kiss.

      5. Always so sweet.
        Re: poetry. Yes, inspire me.

In this turbulent year of loss and fear, your brilliance continues to illuminate. Keep sparkling and inspiring.

      6. I think I lost my touch 😉 But I will try. It may work.

      7. Then why do I feel like I did? 🙂 I need to find a music clip that you will enjoy. Perhaps I can still do that.

      8. LOL
Please, excuse me for my oversight. Your poem. I believe I read it before and I will tell you why.

I felt a moment of déjà vu when I read your vivid description of the ocean water warm like bread. It was like reading a signature line. Your trademark. Your writing is always vivid and touching on all the senses.

“Why would I even want a man that any women with lipstick and stilettos can have?”
When i read this, then I was certain I read this before. That line is everything every “How to describe a character in your novel”
articles and books try to teach us. It told us so much about the narrator.

Believe me, I have never forgotten that line. And probably never will. It was as perfect as watching the sunset in a lover’s eyes or waking up to the face one someone you love.

Apologies for my failure to comment on the poem. I assumed you are weary of me heaping the same old praise on you. Also, I guess I am not at my gushing best. (A little out of poetry reading shape). Wink.

Doctors have warned me about taking care of my heart, but what can I do if your writing is always Breathtaking?!

      9. I am glad you are laughing. That makes me happy.
Yes, you read the piece before and you commented on. It was first published on my blog.
““How to describe a character in your novel” articles and books try to teach us”. You have to tell me what those articles teach us because I have no idea.
” It told us so much about the narrator.” Indeed, it says a lot about me.
“Believe me, I have never forgotten that line. And probably never will. It was as perfect as watching the sunset in a lover’s eyes or waking up to the face one someone you love.” This is very humbling Drew. Thank you. Wait a minute.. Is the poet in you waking up? ” watching the sunset in a lover’s eyes or waking up to the face one someone you love.” Beautiful.
‘Doctors have warned me about taking care of my heart, but what can I do if your writing is always Breathtaking?!” Aren’t you a true charmer? Breathtaking is not heart breaking. So you are safe with me 🙂
You are probably asleep now. It’s very late. May the morning bring you love and sunshine.
        Be well Drew.
        G.

      10. Sorry if this sounds like spying or stalking but i’m just glad to read updates about you … hope you are doing great and wish everything goes goes well on your end 🙈💕🌟

      11. No worries, it is not stalking at all.

I haven’t rushed back to blogging to make sure I get proper rest. But I will be back soon. Thank you for your kind words and wishes. It is greatly appreciated.
