the language of the birds sleeps in the trees

    .

stars rise over old memories of purple seas

like cherry buds…” Lovely Gabriela, truly a wonderful work of art…

    1. Oh, thank you from the bottom of my heart, Java. I am so glad you enjoyed it.

  4. Gabriela, you certainly join forces with the moon in the poem, and create poetry the moon herself could only dream of. So many lines I love, (tying hands with silk of dreams is one), but there is something about the ending

    “on your shaved face
    the moon and I
    drop dew
    and virgin violets”

Something about the specificity of those details. The rightness of them.

Yet another wonderful poem my dearest friend. You are magnificent. Any requests for your beginning of the week. I’m at your beck and call.

    1. Here comes my sunshine, my fabulous Rachel!
“create poetry the moon herself could only dream of.” Oh, thank you so much sweetheart. However I suspect you can do better than I when it comes to the moon.
Yet today I’am taking all the compliments I can get. So, thank you, thank you, thank you.
      “on your shaved face
      the moon and I
      drop dew
      and virgin violets”
“Something about the specificity of those details. The rightness of them.” I am not sure that I understand that but I’ll take it as a great compliment.
“Any requests for your beginning of the week”:

      Oh, yes.
      1. I want to know how the magical kitchen works. I really do. Will you send me a picture?
      2. I want to make sure that my dearest friend Rachel receives all the love in the world. I want to make sure you are more than ok.
      3. I am sending you boats filled with flowers. I want to make sure you get them.
      4. Can I have some truffles, sweetie? And then perhaps some Amazon forest scented body oil, a basket filled with lavender, a string of South Sea pearls, baroque if possible (they are cheaper than the rounds but they are gorgeous)? 🙂 Oh, I am going over the board. Only if you can do number 1.2.and 3. I will be fine.
Wishing you a beautiful weak and sending you all the love in the world.
When you have time send me your list 🙂

      1. 1. Gabriela, I love your lists. Something about the specificity of them, they’re just ‘right.’ I mean it but I can’t explain it. Take it as a great compliment, it is certainly meant as one.
        2. The kitchen is functional. Most importantly, it has my espresso machine. It also has running water, and a tap 😂. I’ll send you a picture, your wish is my command.
3&4. I am feeling very loved by this comment, and now understand what the boats are docking near my house for. I thought I could smell something wonderful.
        4. Only the finest and most beautiful for you, dear Gabriela. I have sent my scouts on the lookout for these items as we speak. And I have already filled a basket with lavender. That much I can do.
        5. I would like… an outdoor bath, wood fired, somewhere remote and under the stars. A scented candle. Big fluffy towels. Some of your poetry to read. No-one would see me for days.
        6. You are such a gorgeous soul. Sending you lots of love and hugs.

        Xoxoxo

      2. 1. Rachel. Thank you sweetheart. Compliment taken.
        2. Yay! Can’t wait to see the picture. Please make sure that the espresso machine appears in the picture too.
3&4 You are very loved. The boats are filled with roses, azaleas, and hibiscuses.
        4. You are adorable. Thank you so much. Give my love and my thank to your scouts too. Oh, I have plenty of lavender. I will send another boat.
        5. That we can arrange anywhere. But meet me in Hawaii. I know a place where they fill the outside bath tubs with rose oil and petals of orchids. It’s paradise. I will write you more about. I’ll read your poetry. And nobody will see me for days. Something about “nobody will see me for days” I don’t know what. It speaks to me.

Lots or thank and love, my fabulous Rachel.
        xoxoxo

      3. Hawaii…. they do this in Hawaii…. yes, yes, yes. I need to hear more about this, please do write me more.

I think nobody would see either of us for days. And it would be luxurious.

Love back to you and sorry Scott my late reply xoxoxo

      4. I will write you more about, sweetheart. Definitely luxurious.
        xoxoxo

  5. Love the whole poem…but, these lines took my breath away.

“I tie your hands with ribbons made of dreams
I seal your chest with roses and with amber”

Poetic brilliance you are. The imagery in your work is vivid and beautifully well crafted and written. 🙂

    1. Hello Charlie,
Thank you for your wonderful comment and for being here. “Poetic brilliance” you are so kink. Thank you again.
Where have you been? I did not here from you in a long time. You ok, Charlie?

      1. You are welcome my friend. 🙂 Your work is amazing.

I’ve been writing and reading and finally got me a laptop for the first time ever. My desktop computer gave out on me. It was Windows Vista. Their services are done. So, I bought me a Dell laptop and now I’m writing and on the go. So I’ll be able to post more often and writing a lot. 🙂

Sorry for my absence. I’m okay. Thank you for asking my friend. 🙂

      2. You got yourself a laptop for the first time! Congratulations. I hope you got used with it. I am definitely happy because I can read you now.
        Have a great evening 💕

      3. Oh, great Charlie. So we will read more poetry from you 🙂

      4. Thank you for letting me know Charlie. Looking forward to reading it. Meantime if you have time please take a look to my today’s post. No pressure.
        Enjoy your evening 🤗

      1. Of course, you’re very welcome! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, insightful poetry! It really is a joy to read. 💕

      2. I am the one to thank you for your kindness. And I do that from the bottom of my heart ❤️

  6. Now, you’re collabing with the moon. But you’re brilliance outshines her every time.
    Congrats on having it published.

Should I be expecting any collabs with a sunset?
    Bless you always.

    1. “Now, you’re collaborating with the moon” All I am doing is trying to create some good karma here.
Thank you for the compliments and the congrats
Hugs and blessing to you my dear Drew.
      Take care.
      G.

      1. There is good karma in the moon. Maybe I have been doing it all wrong paying so much attention to sunsets. Will have to readjust my settings and focus more on the moon.

        Be well.

    1. I am very sorry but I am not an Indian blogger. The journal is Indian. I am an American.

  7. Wow! This is sensual poetry. Such a beautiful imagery. The way you personify the Luna, the way you bring nights to life, the way everything has been done amazes me beyond. I so love this piece of yours.
Btw, are you familiar with Arthur Rimbaud’s illumination? I don’t know but that’s his only piece of prose/poetry I’ve read and I find yours equally close. It isn’t a direct connection indeed, but something about it.

    1. Hi there handsome,
I am so sorry I am late with my answer. The semester started.
Your comment humbled me beyond words. Arthur Rimbaud? Shanyu, Rimbaud is my favorite poet of all times. He will always be. I can thank you one million times for your words and it would not be enough.
“but something about it.” Perhaps my love for his work.
My dearest friend you are a gem. Sending you love, hugs, and a beautiful and fragrant sunset.
      Yours
      G.

      1. Hola Gabriela,
You are so very welcome. That happens to be such a wonderful thing. I read him a couple of days back, I quite liked him too.
Well if that is about your love for him, I can for sure tell certainky after reading your reply.
My dear friend, that us such a wonderful sunset. Sending you a tequila sunrise by the most beautiful beach.
Btw, I hope your semester goes good. I can say your students must miss you.
        Always,
        S.

      2. “a tequila sunrise by the most beautiful beach.” Thank you. It sounds great. Do you care to join me? 🙂
Sending you a mojito on a beach watching the most beautiful sunset.
        Yours
        G.

      3. I would love to join if you may. Maybe meet Maya too!
Thank you so much for the mojito. I really am enjoying it
        Yours,
        Shanyu.

      4. I am glad you liked the mojito. You can join me anytime and meet Maya too.
