Tree of Love #prose poem #short prose #poetry

I fed my tree of love with water from my blood, dried lizards, and pieces of broken hearts.
My tree will bloom during the Banquet of the Moon.
The broken hearts? You see I had no choice.
I am the defender of love.
I do not trade in half measures.

    1. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am really humbled by your comment.
On a different note, I have trouble navigating your site. I am going to contact WP to see if it’s something wrong on my side.

      2. I know I can read your post via my reader. Problem is that they do not always appear in my reader. It may be because I go via a VPN. I will talk to WP soon.
Have a beautiful rest of the day.

  1. Wow, wow, and wow Gabriela. This Is stunning, passionate, uninhibited. That tree of love doesn’t get just part measures, it gets the tears and the jagged parts, the broken pieces, the entirety of the soul. The unconditional love, the realities of love. As I read it, I get the image of the mixing of a spell, a potion, a balm, a lesson in love.
