  1. Hello G,

Oh my thiis is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous and inspiring piece. I imagine in its original language
    it must be more beautiful.

    Have an inspiring day.

    1. Good morning Drew,
Thank you so much for reading and for your wonderful comment. Indeed, Flavio’s poetry is outstanding.
      Take care 🙂

      1. Drew, try Spanish to Italian versus English to Italian. It may be better. Let me know.

      2. Sorry, I mean Italian to Spanish versus Italian to English 🙂

      3. Lol, I took the Niagen, Apparently I have to switch to coffee 🙂

      4. 🍮🌴make sure you sure you stay in the shade. It’s 🥵

      5. It’s blazing in New York. Today it will be 100 degrees there, but it will feel 110.
Sitting on the balcony sipping lemonade. Once it gets to hot will I hide in the central air.

      6. Checking. Making sure that you are a real Sunshine State boy now.

      7. I am happy to here that.
Did you say Key West? Break my heart, Drew, break my heart.

  2. It’s wonderful that we have translations of the meanings and unfortunate when it comes to Italian language musicality. That internal music, the flow and the rhythm, sometimes so much influenced by a single word, it’s very difficult to translate, to reproduce. Or the effect of alliterations… Emotions are triggered by this secret flow.
It’s the same for any language, of course.
I thank God that I can “hear” this music, even if sometimes I miss some of the meanings. It makes me wish to take some Italian lessons.
    Beautiful Sull’amore finito.

    1. Indeed, the poem is beautiful, Daniela. Thank you so much for reading and commenting.
Hugs and a beautiful evening to you.

      1. Thank you for the link, Flavio. A pleasure to read more (a read part of it in Storm Petrel). The poetry is magnificent. And how dear is this: “His daughter Caroline says her father is her favorite poet.” What can I say? Caroline has great taste.

  3. quel Piero di cui parlo nella poesia è stato un grandissimo cantautore italiano, morto nel 1980, Piero Ciampi: il brano è dedicato a Lui.

  4. Ay, the voice, the music… the lyrics .. superb. Thank you for sending it.

    1. Thank you so much, my dearest Winnie. Flavio is a great poet.
      Hugs and love to you.

      1. My pleasure, dear G. Thank you for that information. I’ll google translate his works. 😃 Hugs and love to you too.
