      1. Aw, I am really humbled. I am in owe of your talent too 😉 Mesmerize me with your beautiful stories!

  1. Your word choice is truly very excellent! The word twist and turn which make the road just very interesting.

    1. Thank you, Watt. Your appreciation means a lot to me.
I could have used more twists and turns 🙂

    1. Aw.. thank you, Eric.
Remember I believe “her” not “him” 🙂
I hope the writing is going well!

      1. I am glad to hear that, Eric.
Now to your smile: 3/4 English and 1/4 Scottish ?

  2. Taking a wild guess here, so I will say…..

    Good evening G.

I have come to the conclusion Spillwords Press has exceptionally good taste. Cricket hitting a crescendo, castanets awaken the moon. Beautiful lines in this stunning composition of love and poetry

I know the original meaning of the story is of greed, but the modern day version of Midas touch is the best way to describe your poetry. Everything you touch, the moon, mud, etc, you make it all so alluring. You breathe life into everything you write. Your verses are an elegant ballet where your words dance off the page.

Enjoy the breeze and sunset. Have a gorgeous evening my dear friend.

    1. Grazie mille, Flavio. Bella traduzione di un grande poeta:YOU

Do you remember this? I keep your translations in a separate file. I read them often. They mean a lot to me.

il ritmo delle nacchere risveglia la luna
sugli anelli opalici i tuoi baci fanno girare

odori di lilla e di rose, passeggiate impregnate,
      seduzione,
      non ero io
      che ti rubavi l’anima

      Buona giornata, Flavio!

  3. Congratulations! Every time I read your work I’m drawn in all over again. I find the line about the road of fables and folktales especially evocative – the road where anything can and will happen and the possibilities are limitless.

    1. Hey there David,
Thank you so much. I am thrilled you liked the poem.
“I find the line about the road of fables and folktales especially evocative – the road where anything can and will happen and the possibilities are limitless.” Oh, I like that. I feel the same.
David, thank you once again for your help. Know that I appreciate everything you’ve done for me.
      Enjoy your day.
      G.

      1. Hiya, G! You’re welcome, of course.
Yay! I’m glad you like it.
You’re welcome, too, for the help. It was no bother at all, and you’ve also helped me, which I also appreciate.
        Wishing you a good evening,
        David

      2. David, I am in Europe and I am so jet lagged. I did not expect a reply from you, When you wrote back I was wondering why did David write back so soon? It’s very early in the morning. I guess it’s not early morning home 🙂
Have a fabulous evening, David 🙂

  4. Gabriella,

Your poetic passion of words are too hot for my computer screen. My fingers barely can touch the keyboard to type out a response. 🙂 Lovely job! I’d love create a fine firery prose as yours to present DH on our upcoming anniversary. This will be our 40th and we certainly share more than a spark. 😉

    1. My Dear Kathy,

Such high praise. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am humbled by your words.

May your 40th be filled with happiness. May you be loved and happy forever.
      G.

  5. I have been trying to get to this all day, and what a treat now I have…. it was seduction that stole his soul… who would not want to be stolen by such luscious seduction, I bet he left the key in plain sight and hoped it would be found…. seduction so seductive it has a persona of its own. Love this G.

    And these lines:
    a cricket’s hitting a crescendo
waves tattoo dark shadows on your skin…

This is sigh worthy and so vividly beautiful. So …. seductive!!

I hope your travels so far are every bit as beautiful as this poem.

    1. Thank you so my my dearest R. Your comment is beautiful. It seduced me.
Sending you the best wishes ever.
      Hugs and love to you!

    1. Aw.. thank you, Matt. I just finish reading your “Author of the Month” interview 🙂 Spillwords retweeted.
