delusion #poem #poetry

lurking at the margins of your love
my mind
does not expand and does not shrink
delusion
the lake reflects the light of a dead star
a seagull heaves upward
an aching call
dissonance
the cosmic Adam does not care
that I was set on his left side

  1. So beautiful dear G. From start to finish, the cosmic Adam, oblivious to the cosmic Eden beside him, and this… “lurking at the margins of your love
my mind”
    Wow.
I would love to lurk in the margins of your mind, all the beautiful verse I might find! (That was an accidental rhyme 😂).

    1. Thank you so much, my dear. Your every word warms my heart. And a beautiful fall dances in front of my eyes. Your fall… your verses, R.

  2. Good morning G,

First read this while on a treadmill. Just so you know, your poetry reads just as beautifully in a sweaty gym.

What a gorgeous opening line. To explore the frontiers of another’s heart and soul. Is there anything more beautiful? The beauty of your verse continues with touching images
that you always do so well.

Bravo G. Your poetry is a gift to the world.
