forever green #poetry

i hide kisses in my hair

gather touches in my heart

oceans linger on my body

mirrors drift into my dreams

in the night of eucalyptus

autumns in cold violet preen

i arch my body in your arms

my fingers brake sonatas’ spleen

in the anarchy of flesh

your eyes spark

forever green

  1. After reading this Im like, what sorcery is this. You don’t know how much I love this. I can already picture instruments in the background. I am overwhelmed by this strong feeling. just like when I get my green 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, my dear friend! Your appreciation means a lot to me!
I love your music and poetry, and I can’t wait for our collaboration to be ready! 🙂

  2. Good morning. I meant to ask you yesterday if there would be a “Lonely Sunday” post.
Very grateful to see it pop up on my screen, it was needed today.

I too love that “Anarchy of Flesh.” Very powerful line. Beautiful piece dear G.

    1. Good morning, Drew!

Thank you for the compliment! It means a lot to me.
I am going to miss your comments while you are gone.
Wishing you a safe an inspiring trip!
      Take good care of you!

      1. Hahaha I dare you to post. You will be surprised to see how many I miss.

On a different note, I visited my sick friend. In his mid forties, he had a massive heart attack two weeks ago and his body completely shut down. Moments after my visit, his children had his life support systems
shut off. He passed quietly without any further pain.

A sad reminder of how fragile we are G. We must treasure every moment!

Thank you for your kind wishes. Yes, I will look out for me. G, every breath I take is full of inspiration. Be well. Be happy.

      2. I am so sorry to hear that, Drew! I really am! It’s devastating news!

Yes, we are very fragile, and we do not remember that too often. At least I don’t.

“every breath I take is full of inspiration” This makes my day, Drew!
        May you be inspired forever!

    1. Haha! You made me laugh, Eric! I need that. Thank you!
On another note I am glad that nothing bad happened to you. Those tress can be dangerous 🙂
“you, hanging in an eucalyptus tree
the hour of the English tea …”
trying to finish this poem… I will eventually 🙂
