you #poetry

you

cradle filled with lava

eating from veined skies

voice which breaks through trees

rocking birds of night

dangling long earrings

ferment in your blood

yesterday

tomorrow

coins which make no sense

you

who marked your name

in silence

on my chest

  1. G. You go and do this to.me right before bed time. Poetry was the furthest thing from my mind at this hour.

Again wonderful images. And another gorgeous finale. Thanks for the inspiration.

Sleep my deat friend. I know I will.

      1. Laughing so hard I almost fell about of bed. Good night (I was about to call you sunshine, but you have become nocturnal on me.

        My morning coffee misses you.
        Nighty night.

      2. Haha! I will hopefully be able to post again in the morning. I can’t wait to disturb your coffee time.
I believe there are nocturnal butterflies, but mostly moths are nocturnal.
Did you just call me a moth? Kidding.
        Have a good night! 🙂

      1. Aw.. Eric, leaving people breathless with a line is your cup of tea ( Did I use this expression correctly? )😊 You do that extremely well. Anyway , thank you from the bottom of my heart!

      2. You express yourself perfectly! Now about this man in the photo … okay I give you he’s handsome but, and I know this may sound picky, an Englishman would stand up straight and certainly wear a tie … just saying – says he with tongue in cheek and a smile! Now must go time for a cup of tea.

      3. Haha! I really love your comment! Can you send me a picture of you 😊 May you have a delightful afternoon!

  2. A breath! From the beginning to the end. I intended to select a line, but it’s not possible to interrupt this burning blood flow. Beautiful! (though I have to say that this image “veined skies” stamped my mind)

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Daniela! I am so glad you liked it. “veined skies”: I do not know how I came up with that, but I kind of like it, too. Have a wonderful afternoon!

      1. I do read your wonderful poems with the greatest joy, my dear Daniela! They speak directly to my heart! Have a fabulous evening, and thank you again for your generous comments!

      2. Dear Daniela: indeed, our hearts found each other. I have no words to tell you how happy I am they did! Can’t wait to read your next poem!

perfect! time does not exist. just leave me a silver coin for me. from another time filled with silence. Good morning!

    1. Good morning! Thank you for your kind words! I’ll make sure to leave you a coin. Maybe a gold one? I think gold is better. For the moment, let’s stay away of silver coins😊

      1. Ah, of course, gold looks better, especially when it floats or flies from autumn trees. The pleasure of silence is great!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words! Your poem is superb. I am glad you think we vibe! I really am!
