cloudy tear #poetry

a cloudy tear

falls from your eyes

into my palms

it becomes

a luscious grape

i bite

its juice

spreads into my mouth

your eyes

look into mine

i kneel

you pray

a bird

rises

from the ashes

conveyor

of love.

  1. I like this poem. The images are so interesting that I have enjoyed reading it over and over.

  2. I am delighted that a “mechanical”, rough and heavy word like a “conveyor” can be so brilliantly used in another context. Great mastery! My compliments.

      1. Oh no! This is not a compliment. Please believe an author who has a lot of serious experience and published books that such a mastery is really rare. To fly such a burden in the air! Pleasure is all mine.
